The sixth of February is getting closer! The second anniversary of the massacre of Ceuta, when the Guardia Civil shot at least 15 sub-saharan migrants on Tarajal beach. Last year, we organized a commemoration ceremony in Tangier, this year the mobilisation is getting a lot bigger: Many Moroccan, sub-Saharan and transnational groups have united to claim justice! Mass mobilizations are taking place in Morocco and in Europe, on the 6th of February there will be sit-ins, demos, info-evens in Rabat, Ceuta, Barcelona, Berlin and Strasbourg. Reading the call

30th of October 2015 | EU-Africa: Valletta, the summit of dissent

On November 11th and 12th, the EU and its African partners are meeting in Valletta, for a summit on migration and mobility, as a follow-up to the 2-3 April 2014 Fourth EU-Africa Summit in Brussels. Malta will host the Heads of state of 28 EU Member states, 35 African countries, and representatives from the African Union, ECOWAS and the United Nations. The summit is called upon to demonstrate that the EU and Africa share a joint will to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on migration issues. Reading the article
